I am by no means an expert. Nor am I able to tell you if you purchase the XXXXX now the price will surge further or drop in the months coming.
In property investment, it is important to identify your goal. If you are looking for solely price appreciation, it seems that the risk is on the higher end since there have been talks on property bubble building up in Singapore and several cities. If you are looking for rental income and long term return, there is no good or bad time (at least to …

On the other hand, the Government is stepping out strongly to maintain the stand that the public housing is still affordable, based on their own sets of parameter.
Let’s take a look at these 2 articles brilliantly dissecting the topic on housing affordability in Singapore:

Latest home-loan skirmish also sees banks speeding up their approvals
A skirmish of sorts has broken out on the home loans front with banks pushing down their interest rates a notch or two over the past week or so. The first volley was fired by DBS Bank and the others have responded.

1. A seller’s stamp duty will be imposed on all residential properties sold within one year from the date of purchase
2. Loan to Value (LTV) limit to 80% will be imposed on all housing loans
I personally think the measures have come on time due to the speculation we could see in the private market together with the housing spikes over the few months. …
